Professor Stewart Brymer

Professor Stewart Brymer joined the Board of Dundee Cell Products in 2007. A former partner in Thorntons Law LLP since 1983, he has recently started a new law firm Stewart Brymer WS based in Edinburgh. Stewart has a wide base of clients and is recognised for his specialist knowledge of both Intellectual Property (IP) and Commercial Leasing Law, and was the first lawyer in Scotland to be accredited by The Law Society of Scotland in both of these specialist fields. He is a co-author of a set of IP Guidelines for academics

He is also well known within the education sector in Scotland, having strong links with a number of universities and is a former member of Court at the University of Dundee. He is Chairman of Dundee Heritage Trust and a General Trustee of the Church of Scotland.
